Living with someone can be hard. If you are anything like my roommate and I, you can get on each other’s nerves, and forget to tell each other how much you love and appreciate each other. Here are some things that roommates say to one another, that really mean “I love you.”

“You should take your pepper spray to the gym with you, it’s a long walk and it’s dark outside.“

“I was at Target and got you your favorite candy.”

“You look so pretty today!”

“You have early class tomorrow, stop watching Netflix and do your homework!”

“I’m going to chick-fil-a on my way home, what do you want me to get you?”

“You keep sneezing, take your allergy medicine!”

“You need a drink. Or some chocolate. Or both.”

“Are you okay? And don’t say you’re fine, I know you better than that!”

“Be safe tonight!”

“I know you mad at me, so I got you cookies.”

“You need a study break, let’s watch Friends.”

“You are way prettier than the new girl he is talking too.”

“You deserve so much better than him.”

“Aren’t you gonna miss living with me over the summer?”

“I know you’re stressed, is there anything I can do to help?”

“I’m not ready to move out.”

“We need a roomie bonding dinner.”

“Good morning! I got your favorite kind of bagel for you while I was out!”

“Wake up! You have things to do today!”

“You need to get some sleep.”

“Ugh I hate you so much!!!”

“I love you.”
