Perhaps the most memorable part of choosing where you wanted to attend college were the campus visits. You might even remember being nervous or intimidated by all the students walking around campus. You will always remember the thoughts that you had on your first visit, and here are some of the thoughts the writers at Her Campus Xavier had on our first Xavier college visit!

  • “We get free cookies AND this sweet cup? Awesome!”

  • “I can totally workout everyday and get fit! O’Conner is definitely manageable!”

  • “Oh. My. Gosh. Why is my tour guide walking so fast?”

  • “I have seen these blue police lights on every other college campus I have visited so far… they aren’t really that special…”

  • “I wonder if my tour guide is always this happy and peppy or if it’s completely fake?”

  • “There’s a bar in their student center!? I didn’t know that kind of thing was allowed!”

  • “That’s it. I’m definitely coming to Xavier. There are cure guys everywhere I look.”

  • “Are these the kind of people that dress up to go to class, or are they the kind of people that wear their pajamas to class? I gotta make sure I can blend in.”

  • “Is there a game tonight or does everyone just wear their X gear every day like this?”

  • “Why does the Starbucks have to be so far away from the freshman dorms?”

  • “Xavier’s campus is absolutely beautiful! I cannot wait to get to see it every day!”
