So It’s Time to Pack for Christmas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Xavier chapter.

Christmas break is around the corner, and that means it’s time to head back home for family, friends, food, and holiday fun. Along with finishing finals and surviving the rest of the semester, the daunting task of packing awaits. So here’s how to pack for Christmas break:

  1. Find your suitcase either under your bed, in your closet, or in your haunted basement.

  2. Check to see if you’ve unpacked from Thanksgiving yet. If not, congratulations. Close it, zip it, and do laundry at home

  3. If you have unpacked, it’s time to start over with the basics: Clothes (don’t forget the fancy clothes you promise yourself you will wear but probably won’t), winter outerwear, and toiletries.

  4. Now pack all of the unnecessary things you brought to school that you thought you would need, but never used.

  5. Stuff your holiday gifts for everyone back home in your bag.

  6.  Remeber your technology that you will use to avoid family, like laptops, phones, chargers, tablets, and headphones.

  7. Don’t forget to leave room for the snacks and presents from your family!

  8. Most importantly, pack some Christmas cheer.
