The most prestigious award show of the year is just a few days away! Here’s all that you need to know about the 2020 Oscars ceremony.

The Logistics

The 92nd Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 9th, 2020 at 8pm EST on ABC, broadcasting live from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA . Red Carpet coverage begins at 6:30pm EST on ABC. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be live-tweeting the red carpet and the award show @TheAcademy. 

The Nominations

Joker received 11 nominations– the most of any film this year. Following closely behind The Irishman, 1917, and Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood all received 10 award nominations. JoJo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story, and Parasite received six nominations. You can check out the full list of nominations here.

The Biggest Names in Hollywood

Aside from the star-studded nominations, this Oscars ceremony will be filled with superstar presenters and performers, too! Presenters throughout the night include Timothée Chalamet, Will Ferrell, Gal Gadot, Mindy Kaling, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mahershala Ali, Olivia Colman, Regina King, and Rami Malek. Performers include Billie Eilish, Elton John, Idina Menzel, Chrissy Metz, and Randy Newman.
