What activities are you involved with at Xavier?

I am VP of Professional Events for Delta Sigma Pi, and treasurer for Women’s Club Volleyball. I am also involved in intramural sports, Women in Business, and finance association. I intern in the trading center and tutor.

What did you do this summer?

I interned at Cincinnati Financial. I worked with the underwriters insuring that their programs were working properly.

What’s one of your favorite memories from your time at Xavier?

Freshman year, we went to a club volleyball tournament in Louisville!

What’s your favorite Xavier event to attend?

The caf

 What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

I ran a marathon!

How long did you train for your marathon?

Two months of official training, but I had been running for a while!

Most people know you as the girl with super long hair who worked at Coffee Emporium. How long did you work there, and what was your favorite part about it?

I worked there for three years. My favorite part about it was seeing everyone-talking to people and seeing how their day was going. It was really great to just talk to other students, and give them pep talks and coffee if they were having a bad day. 

Lauren is a senior Marketing major, with minors in Economics and Gender & Diversity Studies at Xavier University. She calls Nashville, Tennessee home, and is the Campus Correspondent and President of HCXU. When she is not writing, she is planning events on the Student Activities Council, building her resume with her brothers in Delta Sigma Pi, or making random Spotify playlists. She is a Diet Coke enthusiast, and wishes she could spend every day hiking or playing with her dog.
