Why are you involved with Active Minds? I like the motto of eliminating stigma for mental health issues. I think that it is an important topic that others need to be aware of.

How well do you think ASL will fit into your major of social work/education? American Sign Language can connect with my major of Social Work in numerous ways. I will have the ability to work with deaf or hard of hearing clients, especially since I work near Ohio School for the Deaf.

What is your favorite part of being involved with RSA? Why? I love being involved in the halls and helping to bond the students together.

What’s your favorite part of being a Xavier student? I love the friendships that I have formed over the years here, along with the ability to experience numerous new things that I would never have done back home.

Amber Lauzé is a senior Entrepreneurial Studies and Management double major from Auburn, Maine. When not writing for HCXU, she can found at one of her many jobs, or hunting for her cat that likes to hide in blankets.
Danielle Curtis is a Junior at Xavier University and is HCXU's Campus Correspondent. She is majoring in English with minors in media studies and writing. She loves traveling, reading, and watching videos of failed marriage proposals.
