Studying in the dorm room can lead to falling asleep. Studying with a group of friends in the room could lead the roommates to get annoyed. Because these places don’t work out so well, here are some study spots are great for group projects or cramming before a test.
1. Smith Hall Terrence
This is a great place to study in the summer, spring or fall. It’s quiet because it’s isolated, so there will be few distractions. Plus, it gives a great view of campus and the chairs are extremely comfy.
2. Alter
Alter is a great place to study because there are plenty of classrooms. Most of them have white boards, so it’s easy to write out your notes or work out math problems.  There are even hallway study spots with whiteboard work stations too. Another plus is that it is centrally located.
3. The second floor of the library
This is a favorite place to study because there are several little pods that separate you from other people. This means each person has privacy and there are plenty of places for everyone. Also, there are many couches and chairs to relax in while studying. There’s also several computers and access to a printer. Also, the vending machines are on this floor incase you need a study snack.
4. The Clocktower Lounge
The Clocktower lounge is a great place to study when there is no event going on in there because there are plenty of tables and chairs; perfect for group projects. Plus Gallagher is open 24/7 for those late night study sessions.
5. CLC Study Rooms
One thing about these rooms is that they have to be reserved ahead of time, but they are perfect for group study sessions or projects. Plus, there are dry erase boards on the walls for your studying needs.
6. The Green Space above Bishop Fenwick Place
This is great space because it is relatively quiet, it gives a great view of campus and there are plenty of tables for group study sessions or just yourself. Â It is the perfect place to finish up your readings for class when the weather is warm!
