College can be challenging when you are undecided about your major; while all of your friends seem to have their lives all planned out, and it can be very overwhelming. Here’s what its like to be an undecided major as told by Friends…

At first college is awesome. Besides homework, you are carefree and can do whatever you want.

And the possibilities of majors are endless! The world is your oyster! This is great!

But then you realize that you will eventually have to pick a major…

And your parents constantly remind you that you have to start thinking about the future.

You often question your purpose in life and what you are doing with it.

Phone calls and dinners with family members always involve the question “So have you decided on a major yet?”

You sometimes freak out about the future.

Okay maybe more than sometimes.

You feel like such an underachiever around your friends who seem to have their whole lives planned out. You look around your friend group and see pre-med, pre-law and business majors and feel like a joke.

Everyone assures you that you will figure out what you want to major in eventually…

And everyone tries to give you his or her two cents on what you should major in…

But none of it helps.

You know when the day you finally declare one comes it will be the best day ever…

But right now you are too stressed to focus on that.

But don’t worry; all of the stress of deciding a major will be worth it in the end!
