The game and the commercials are fun but so is the food. Unsure of what to bring? Try any one of these quick snacks that will be crowd-pleasers among your friends.Â
What’s a party without a good dip? Getting everything good in one bowl creates minimal cleanup and a cool gradient effect!Â
Recipe:Â
1 can refried beansÂ
1 can sliced olives
1 cup of salsa (chunky, preferably pico de gallo)Â
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream (can substitute nonfat Greek yogurt)Â
1 tablespoon cumin (can substitute taco seasoning)Â
2 large avocados, peeled, pitted, and smashed (can substitute store-bought guacamole)Â
1 bag of tortilla chips for dippingÂ
Instructions:Â
Layer all the ingredients in this order: first beans, then sour cream, cheese, avocados, salsa, olives. Be sure to use a glass bowl to be able to see the layer effect.Â
Spice up some frozen pizza by making the pepperonis into the shape of a football! Your guests will applaud you for your creative skills, and it will take you less than a minute to throw together before putting it in the oven.Â

1 frozen cheese pizza
1 block of mozzarella cheese (can substitute 1 ball fresh mozzarella)Â
1 package of pepperonisÂ
Instructions:Â
Unwrap frozen pizza. Spread pepperonis in a football shape in the middle of the pie. Cut strips of mozzarella cheese, laying them next to each other in the middle of the pepperonis. Create a long piece of mozzarella by laying cheese across the strips. Bake in oven as directed by pizza box.Â
Snacks are nice, but you want something filling for the big game to keep you from running back and forth to the snack bar while the good commercials are on. Try these Ham and Cheese Sliders for a quick hot sandwich that is as delicious as it is easy to make.Â

1 box King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 pound hamÂ
1/2 pound provolone cheeseÂ
1/2 cup melted butter
Mustard topping optional.Â
Instructions:Â
Cut rolls in half and put bottoms in an oven-safe tray. Layer ham and cheese on each other rolls. Put top back onto the rolls and pour melted butter over the tops of the rolls. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.Â

Instructions:Â
Use sharpie to draw football designs on the ends of the sticks. Stick opposite end into bottom of ice cream sandwich. Put white icing in a Ziplock bag; zip closed and cut off a small section of bottom tip. Use to draw football design on one side of the sandwich. Store in freezer until ready to serve.Â
