We know that you probably have a teeny-tiny clutch or cross-body that has little to no extra space. But, trust us when we say, that we have some basic essentials that you should not leave for the bar without! Stock up and be ready for anything your night throws at you.

5. Gum

You never know when a cute guy will spot your eye. Pop in your favorite flavor of gum and you’ll feel instantly refreshed and ready to get your flirt on.

4. Tampon

Just like you never know when you’ll run into a cutie, you also never know when disaster will strike. This is a security blanket that should never be left behind. Even if it isn’t close to your time, maybe you can save your friend from the embarrassment!

3. Chapstick

When we drink, we get dehydrated. And when we get dehydrated, our lips get chapped. While it’s a natural thing, it’s not exactly the cutest. Run some chapstick over your lips when you visit the ladies room to keep you looking your best.

2. Band-Aid

Nothing is a night ruiner like an ill-timed paper cut or blister. Take action against them by stuffing two or three bandaids in your purse ahead of time. They take up very little space but could be a lifesaver later on.

1. Portable Cell Phone Charger

Since you’re probably Miss Popular, collegiette, you probably have your phone out all night, texting friends your location and taking the next greatest Instagram photo. Don’t feel like you have to ration your battery power! These small, compact chargers can give you enough power to make it through the whole night.
