9. Your friends who have never been interested in basketball are now comparing their brackets with you.

Xavier basketball can make a fan out of anybody.

8. When your teacher moves your test or cancels a class because it would interfere with an important game.

You won’t hear us complaining.

7. Your Twitter feed is filled with the #LoudAndProud, #NCSSAXUMusketeers, and #ZipEmUp hashtags.

6. Snapchat gives you a Game Day sticker and we’re in the March Madness Snapchat story.

It’s almost like you’re there with the team… instead of stuck in your philosophy class. 

5. Everyone starts using their laptops to take notes during class.

We are not checking the scores of the game, we swear.

4. The only acceptable wardrobe is Xavier gear. 

Just in case anyone was confused about your allegiances. 

3. The TVs in the cafeteria play basketball games all day long. 

All of a sudden those middle seats are the most coveted in the entire place.

2. Classmates don’t show up to class since they’ve spontaneously decided to go to the games. 

And if we’re being honest, you’re insanely jealous of them for being there and leaving you here.

1. You thought you couldn’t be any more proud of your school,  but, when Xavier plays, your school spirit level is insane.
