10 Disney Channel Movies You Wish You’d Remembered

Can’t ever remember what that that one Disney Channel movie from your childhood was? You know, the one that you were obsessed with? Have no fear, collegiettes. We haven’t forgotten any of our old favorites, which we’ve gathered in this list for you to peruse and remember.

Tru Confessions (2002)

Tru Confessions follows the story of Tru Walker, a young woman who decides to enter a filmmaking contest hosted by her local television company because she believes her life is full of drama. She intends to make the film about her mentally challenged twin brother, Eddie, but becomes worried about how other people will react to her story.

Horse Sense (1999)

Michael Woods: a spoiled boy who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. After he neglects his cousin, Tommy, Michael’s parents force him to work on Tommy’s ranch for free to teach him a lesson. Together, they must learn to work and communicate to save the ranch from foreclosure.

Pixel Perfect (2004)

After noticing that his friend Samantha’s band is having little success, Roscoe decides to use his father’s technology to create a hologram rock star to help kick-start their success. The hologram, Loretta, becomes the lead singer of the band and, while they gain popularity with her there, drama unfolds when Samantha begins to feel alienated from the people around her and Loretta feels as if she has no sense of identity.

The Other Me (2000)             

Will Browning is facing military camp if he doesn’t receive a good grade in science, and, in order to do well, he decides to order a product called, “Ocean Pets.” Little does he know, a clone formula was leaked into the product. After creating a clone of himself and realizing that the clone is smarter, Will decides to send the clone to school. However, things don’t go according to plan as the clone becomes more popular and admired than Will.  

Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook Off (2003)

Eddie Ogden loves cooking; however, when you’re on the baseball team and have a father that doesn’t approve of having cooking aspirations makes loving cooking a whole lot harder. When Eddie “accidently” registers himself and his two friends for Home Economics, it just makes him want to enter a cooking competition even more. How will everyone respond to Eddie’s secret love?

Motocrossed (2001)

Andrea Carson loves motocross; despite her love, she is repeatedly discouraged because motocross is believed to be a “male” sport. After her twin brother Andrew breaks his leg, Andrea decides to pretend to be her twin brother in order to race in a series of motocross events.

Double Teamed (2002)

In order for twins Heather and Heidi Burge to get discovered by college talent scouts, their dad enlists them in a bigger school outside of their school district. It doesn’t take long for both girls to draw the attention of school’s basketball coach who urges the sisters to play on the team. Together they must learn to deal with their strict father and learn about each other’s differences.

Buffalo Dreams (2005)

When Josh Townsend is forced to move with his father to New Mexico, he meets individuals in the tribal buffalo reserve. Together, Josh and the Navajo clan elder’s grandson, Thomas, must learn to close their cultural gap in order to protect the tribal land.

Gotta Kick It Up (2002)

“Si, se puede!” After Marshal Middle School decides not to have a dance team, two girls convince their biology teacher to coach the cheerleading squad, merging the previous dance team with the cheerleaders. The two groups must learn to work together in order to prepare for competitions where they hope to win.

The Thirteenth Year (1999)

Cody Griffin approaches his thirteenth birthday and experiences something… unique to say the least. Similar, to any other boy his age, he grows into adolescence, is a talented swimmer, and admires girls. However, Cody also begins to grow fins, talk to fish and breathe underwater.
