Another person talking about the election! Sorry, but there is really so much to be said. There are so many different emotions that everyone is feeling. A popular hashtag that has been circulating social media is “NotMyPresident”. I will say that this is what I was thinking as I layed in bed Tueday night and couldn’t sleep. I kept thinking about the decision that America had made and what it meant for me and everyone I knew. There was no way that I wanted to accept that Donald J. Trump was going to be the 45th President of the United States. But, that how it was and how it is going to be. He is going to be the next president and there is little that can be done about that. Saying he is “not my President” is removing yourself from the situation. You are denying any connection to all of the issues that obviously need to be changed. He is going to be the next President. We have to accept that. But we can stand up and make a change. Peacefully, might I add.
