Back to Bellingham 2015 is happening this weekend!
Back to Bellingham is an annual event where alumni, staff, students (current and potential) all come together to celebrate higher education on Western’s campus. Last year nearly 2,000 alumni attended coming from 17 states. The event will be not only action packed but a great opportunity to meet new people and network.
Saturday Back to Bellingham Highlights
Edible Plant Walk 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This walk will be led through Sehome Hill by Fairhaven students
Red Square Carnival 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The carnival will be complete with local vendors, games, live music and more.
Bellingham by bike 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Take a guided tour of Bellingham via bike and gain some perspective! There is a $5 cost for both a bike and helmet rental.
Flock 2 Bellingham 2 to 3 p.m.
Flock to Bellingham is an improv comedy show put on by Western’s own Dead Parrots Society.
Student Scholars Showcase 4 to 6 p.m.
Western students most outstanding pieces of work will be displayed in the Wilson Library reading room.
Relay for Life Luminaria 11 p.m. to midnight
Participants will decorate luminaria to honor those affected by cancer.
