As the semester draws to a close, we have a very special celebrity for this week, Her Campus WVWC’s MVC (Most Valuable Collegiette) of the semester, Sarah Smith!
Sarah is a sophomore creative writing and musical theatre major at Wesleyan, and is also a fashion writer for Her Campus! She is also a member of the theatre department and the theatre honorary Alpha Psi Omega as well as the Public Relations Chair for Alpha Gamma Delta.
Sarah’s love for fashion and style transitions well into her writing. The opportunity to combine her major with something she loves is the reason she puts so much passion into her work at Her Campus.
“Besides giving me the opportunity to meet many intelligent and like-minded young women, Her Campus has helped me gain a voice in my writing and expand my network,” Sarah says. “Because it is a national organization, it has done wonders in preparing me for professional writing and responding to real audiences.”
Sarah plans to continue being involved with Her Campus next semester and hopes to continue to bring her voice of style to WVWC’s campus. She would also like to inspire others to try different styles and trends to make everyone feel comfortable and confident.
