Becky Gossard is from Hagerstown, Maryland, and plans to graduate in December 2015 with a major in criminal justice and minors in sports business and sociology.
Gossard is a sister of Alpha Xi Delta, and plays on the Women’s Golf team.
On October 12-14 she will be heading to Glade Springs for the Mountain East Conference (MEC) with the Bobcat golf team to compete with other gold teams in the region.
Becky has been golfing since she was six years old with her dad. She says her favorite part of golfing is the time she gets to spend playing with him.
Gossard has been driven by her passion of golf to accomplish many achievements. She has broken several school records for West Virginia Wesleyan, was first team all-conference, finished second last year at the Mountain East Conference, was MEC player of the week, and she won the Evan Parker Memorial tournament in Erie, Pennsylvania.
“I hope to win, or at least be in the top three at conference, and I’m hoping the team will either win or finish in the top three as well,” said Gossard.
