Classes are back in full swing and you might already be feeling overwhelmed. If you’re needing a pick me up, put down the books for a few hours and have a DIY night with your girls! Not only are these DIYs super cute, they’ll also help keep you organized!

Washi Tape

Use washi tape to decorate everything. From pencils to notebooks to folders, all of your school supplies will be fun and fabulous!

Paint Chip Calendar

All you will need is a large picture frame, a poster board the same size as the frame and paint chips (which you can get from your local Lowes). Cut the paint chips into squares. Attach the paint chips onto the poster board in rows, just like a calendar. Once you’re finished, put the poster board into the frame. Use a dry erase marker to number your days and plan out your month on the glass, then wipe it away at the end of the month to start over!

Chalkboard Paint

I am a firm believer in using chalkboard paint to make anything look fun. You can create a cute chalkboard with an old picture frame, labels on jars that hold your pencils, buckets that hold your clothes or bins to hold your books.

Mason Jar Pencil Holder

Take a Mason jar and decorate it using paint, washi tape or anything else your heart desires. This is a simple way to spice up your desk while staying organized!

Survival Kit

Whether it’s a blister from uncomfortable shoes, a paper cut or Mother Nature, you never know when disaster will strike. Make sure you always keep a survival kit with you throughout your day! Take any small bag and fill it with your essentials, such as tissues, band aids, ibuprofen and tampons. You’ll be prepared no matter what the day throws at you!

Get creative and make your school supplies just as cute as you are. For more DIY ideas, follow Her Campus WVWC on Pinterest an be sure to share us your next DIY project! Good luck this semester, collegiette!
