Do you ever go through the people you follow on Twitter and, sort of, go on an unfollowing binge? It’s kind of like those times when you get sick of having 6,000 friends on Facebook when you only talk to 20 (and creep on 30 others).
While going through my list of people I follow on Twitter, I picked out 5 accounts that are really entertaining and may suit your fancy, especially on a Monday morning.
1. Minion (@TypicalMinions)
Whoever posts for this account is scarily accurate. Sometimes you’re like, “Mmhmm,” and other times, they’re, “Awww,” and other times are flat-out like, “Hahahahaha, I can’t even take this. I’m dying!” So when life gives you lemons, follow the Minions!
2. Daily Gilmore Girls (@DailyGilmore)
This may be solely entertaining because of my obsession for Gilmore Girls, but I know there has to be more fans than just me! Whoever posts from this account uses some of the best quotes from the show. I do wish they would post the quote from the season three episode where Jess gets a black eye from a crazy swan, and Rory and Jess get into a fight because he wouldn’t tell her the truth. Luke told Jess that Rory isn’t like other girls and that he’s gotten involved with her whole family. Luke says, “Just like that last girl you dated, you got involved with her whole petri dish.” Does anyone else remember this? No matter if you found that funny or confusing, this account provides plenty of content to RT!
3. Christian Hipster (@ChristnHipster)
His bio tells you everything you really need to know. (This is exactly the way it is typed, so, beware, English and grammar enthusiasts!)
“lover of photography, organic coffee, & marginal music. christ-follower. bicycle builder. soul wanderer.” And the website this account connects with is “toms.com”.
The profile picture is pictured above. Here’s a tweet sample:
“my wallet vs. coffee shops #NeverEndingRivalry,” and “lifting my ESV study bible counts as exercise right?”
4. Peanuts (@Snoopy)
This account posts comics and other pictures daily (sometimes a couple times a day). Need I say more? You don’t have to wait for the few times a year that a Peanuts special comes on ABC to enjoy the Peanuts. Get a Beagle Hug on your feed every day!
5. Disney Words (@DisneyWords)
Surely I’m not the only one who enjoys a good Disney movie! This twitter posts quotes from some of our favorites like Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and so many more!
