Today, in pop culture, standing still is the fastest way to fall behind, especially for women in the public eye. Rebranding isn’t just a PR move anymore, it is a necessary step in having a career flourish. For the female artists who grew up in front of audiences, they have had to break out of a box with the constantly changing trends and eras. As of late, pop women are showing exactly how powerful a well-executed rebrand can be.

Zara Larson

For Zara, rebranding has made a crazy impact on her career. It all started with a Tiktok trend in August of 2024 thanks to the hopecore dolphin trend with her song “Symphony,” that came out in 2017. She went from an early 2010 aesthetic to a colorful Lisa Frank inspired wardrobe.  Shortly after the Tiktok trend went viral, she opened for Tate McRae’s “Miss Possessive” Tour which led to her going on her “Midnight Sun” tour.

Addison Rae

For Addison, her rebrand was different than many. When she first rose to fame on Tiktok, she was dismissed as just another influencer. Her rebrand into a pop artist and fashion figure has made a significant impact on her career. After creating music and having a more public appearance she is shredding the internet personality of an influencer. She has made it her mission to show the public that she is more than just what people first assumed. Just at the February 2026 Grammys she performed her song “Fame is a Gun” as a nominee for Best New Artist.

Sabrina Carpenter

Similarly, Sabrina wanted a new persona so the public took her more seriously. She was once associated with her Disney Channel beginnings, she has stepped into a more mature and confident version of herself. During the February 2026 Grammys she was nominated for 6 awards for her album “Mans Best Friend”.
