Valentine’s Day in a College Town

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVU chapter.

Valentine’s Day in a college town doesn’t need to be as unromantic as it sounds. Just because you live in the dorms or don’t have a car doesn’t mean that you’re restricted to a dinner in the Boreman Bistro.

Be accessible- head downtown to one of the many dining options on High Street. Have a car? Check out Yelp for some of the best-rated dining locations in town. Staying home and saving money is always a great option too. What guy doesn’t love a home-cooked meal? Put those pinterest recipes to use!

Be resourceful- see what’s happening around campus on the 14th by checking out the university calendar. You might be able to score a pretty cool and free event.

Valentine’s Day can and should be one of the highlight’s of your spring semester!
