Statusphere: Work With Brands & Get Free Products

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at WVU chapter.

If you follow me on social media, mainly Instagram, you may have noticed that I get a lot of beauty products, ranging from makeup and hair care, entirely free. Yes, you read that right, I get everything for $0.00. If you’re reading this article, it is because you want to get free products as well. So I’m here to tell you how simple it is!

The simplest way I receive amazing products every month is through Statusphere— a platform that connects influencers with brands, completely eliminating the middleman. Many other platforms like Octoly, Influenster and Heartbeat require you to apply for campaigns and hope and pray that you get selected. Statusphere is not like that at all! Once selected, you are promised products every month!

How does being a Statusphere Influencer work?

  • Once selected as an influencer, you will fill out your profile with your product preferences and link your social media accounts. I do not think there is a magic formula to get accepted, but I believe that the more of an established following you have, the higher chances you’ll have of getting accepted. Don’t be discouraged if you do not get accepted the first time! I had to apply twice before getting accepted at around 3,000 followers.

  • During the first few days of each month, you will receive an email from the director of influencer relations, Kristin (special shout out because she’s amazing!) with your options for the month.

  • The email will have a link that will direct you to your options, where you will select your picks for the month. You usually get 5-6 options and you can select all of them!

  • Once you submit your picks, you will receive a confirmation email that your request has gone through as well as updates with a tracking number until your products arrive.

  • Once your products arrive, you will need to post content separately for each pick. Don’t worry, Lena (special shout out because she is a Her Campus Alum!) works really hard to create a separate cheat sheet for each pick that is included in your box. The cheat sheet includes all of the posting requirements and guidelines: required hashtags, types of posts (Tik Toks, Instagram stories, Instagram in-feed posts, Instagram reels, etc). Create your content, upload it to Instagram (or the requested platform) and submit your Instagram links to the form that Kristin provides to track every time you complete a pick.

It really is that simple! So, if you would like free products, sign up here and please make sure to add my handle “@vanessaslv” as a referral.

Special thank you note to Kristin, Lena and the entire Statusphere team that works extremely hard to get us all amazingggg campaigns every month!
