Thanksgiving is a time of the year where you express gratitude for the things you appreciate most. Oftentimes, this day is spent with family, but we must not forget the others that have helped us on each of our personal journeys. These people may be friends, acquaintances or random people you may meet day to day, but why not celebrate them too? Friendsgiving is a perfect opportunity to have a fun and easygoing time with those who mean the most. Here are a few simple meals and games you can make if you and your friends would like to celebrate:
Foods
When it comes to friendsgiving, there are many ways you can go about meal preparation. Either there can be one host that makes the majority of the meal or each person attending can bring their own item to share with the group. Each of these meals can be used for either, but it is important to discuss with your friends which works best.

Games
Grateful ‘guess who’
This game is played by each guest writing something they are thankful for about someone in the group without signing the paper. Those cards will be placed in a bowl and one person will read the papers aloud and try to guess who wrote it.

Any board game will do, but a few fan favorites may include âLife,â âScrabble,â âWavelength,â âFor the girls: Asking for a Friendâ or âCards Against Humanity.â If you want to make it more of a competition, you can have a prize for the winner of each game. These prizes may include thanksgiving stickers, little thanksgiving stuffed animals or thanksgiving treats.

Participants will be split into two groups that will ultimately be competing against each other. Each team will be given the necessary tools and materials to create a simple dessert. They will be given an hour and a half to bake and decorate their dessert. Once the time is up, a panel of judges who will vote for the best dessert.Â
pass the pie
To play this game, all guests will sit in a circle and pass the pie around until the music stops. Once the music is stopped, the guest holding the pie must say one thing they are grateful for about someone in the group. If you want to spice it up, you can have the person who is holding the pie do a random task.
friendsgiving bingo
Bingo is a fun and easy way to learn new things, complete tasks, or have a good time. The types of boxes on your bingo card can vary from group to group, but a few ideas could be a âhas a pet dog,â âhas said âI am gratefulâ sometime that nightâ or âhas taken a picture during this event.â You can have as many boxes as you please, but make it as fun as possible.
