1. BowsÂ
I just had to start with this one. This trend has definitely died out in the last couple of months (thankfully) and started last year, but it has carried into 2026. I have never been a fan of this trend personally. It was cute for a second, until every store I walked into had something with a bow on it. A cute sweater? There’s a bow on the back. A soap dispenser? Don’t worry, there’s a bow on that too. Let’s leave this trend for good in 2026.Â
2. CamoÂ
This one, I am secretly a fan of. Only under specific conditions, though. I think a cute camo sweat set or tank top is cute, but it has to be a light camo pattern. There are also many brands that have outdone it, and it looks tacky to me. I say this one can stay, in moderationÂ
3. Butter yellowÂ
I swear I have been looking for my fellow yellow color lovers my whole life. This is definitely one of my favorite trends from this year. Being brunette, this color looks amazing with my hair. I also think it is such a versatile color; it looks good on everyone, with very surprising color combos with it.Â
4. Mock NecksÂ
I would say this trend started when the PARKE mock necks started to become popular. I think these are pretty cute, and I am really liking how popular brands are coming out with cheaper versions if you don’t want to spend the $130 on a PARKE mock neck. As much as I like this one, I’m not sure how long they will be in style.Â
5. StripesÂ
I have definitely gotten on board with this trend. I think stripes are such a timeless pattern; it hasn’t really left. KEEP!Â
6. Polka dotsÂ
To keep with the pattern theme, polka dots are also pretty timeless. Unfortunately, they are getting a little too played out; I swear everything at TJMaxx has polka dots on it. I hope it doesn’t turn into a bow situation because I really love the polka dots!Â
7. Kitten heelsÂ
Casual heels are so back!! As a tall girl, I really appreciate a tiny heel. I think they are so classy and can be worn with pretty much anything. Give me a pair of jeans and kitten heels, and I’m content. This trend better not die out.Â
8. TealÂ
I feel like the color teal has been a little controversial lately… Many people on TikTok are saying that the teal trend will die out, but I personally love it! I think we all need some color in our lives. It also brings back the best 2016 nostalgia.Â
9. Fold-over pantsÂ
These are my absolute favorite! Specifically, Brandy Melville’s Priscilla Pants have been very popular lately. As much as I love Brandy, I do think we need to give PINK credit where credit is due. I think this trend is kind of a modern spin on the 2000s fold-over pants! I say we keep these around; they are so easy to style.Â
10. CaprisÂ
I have no personal experience with capris… yet! I think they are super cute and unique and should stay. Which is insane coming from me, considering I used to get into fights with my mom when I was younger because she bought me capris instead of leggings. I have debated buying them as a girl with long legs, but I think it is my time to try before it gets too cold.
