Last Tuesday, April 21, Her Campus at WVU had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Student Organization Excellence Awards hosted by Student Engagement and Leadership, and we are so excited to share that we received the Outstanding Student Organization Online Presence award.

Our President, Talia Cartwright, and Vice President, Caraline Hale, attended the ceremony on behalf of our chapter, representing all of the hard work that has gone into growing Her Campus at WVU over the past year.

This award recognizes a student organization with an impressive and strategic online presence across both its website and social media platforms. For us, that means the content we create every week, from articles to Instagram posts to TikToks, and the effort behind making sure our platform feels consistent, engaging and true to our brand.

Over the past year, our chapter has experienced so much growth. We have expanded our team, increased our online presence and built a stronger, more recognizable brand. More importantly, we have created a space where WVU students can share their voices, tell their stories and connect through content centered around lifestyle, fashion and campus culture.

This award is not just about numbers or analytics. It represents the creativity, dedication and consistency of every member who contributes to Her Campus at WVU. Every article written, graphic designed, and post shared played a role in getting us here.

Winning this award is a huge milestone for our chapter and a reminder of how far we have come. It also motivates us to keep growing, improving and creating even more opportunities for our members.

Thank you to Student Engagement and Leadership for recognizing our work, and thank you to our entire team for making Her Campus at WVU what it is today. We are so excited to see what is next.
