FALL STUDY SPOTS AT WVU

Now that the fall season is in full swing, there are so many great places to study inside that aren’t the library. Everyone goes to the library, and sometimes you need a change of scenery. The weather is starting to get chilly, so study spots outside aren’t the best. We all love the hammocks and the mountain lair green, but they aren’t going to be an option soon. Here are some of my favorite spots.

Reynolds Hall

Reynolds is right on the river. It is located across the bridge from the Beechurst PRT station. There are such scenic views while studying. You can also grab a bagel from Einstein’s while you work. There is plenty of seating for you there. It has a lot of natural light if that’s the vibe you are looking for. It makes you feel outdoors without being outside.

Starbucks

Now everyone loves Starbucks. Starbucks is located below Seneca. There is a decent amount of seating, but it can get a bit noisy at times, so I would recommend headphones. It is a great place to meet up with friends for a group study session. Grab yourself a Pumpkin Spice Latte or the new Banana Bread Chai Latte.

The Grind

The Grind is one of my personal favorite coffee shops in downtown Morgantown. It has such good coffee and fresh-baked goods. The vibes are good in there and a lot of people go to do work so it sets the mood. They always have free water as well if you go for a while, so you have that as an option as well.

Stone Tower Brews

This is my favorite spot in Morgantown. It is off campus a bit, but the food and coffee are great. There are tables and couches, so you have so many different options to do work. They have really good fall drinks. I recommend the apple butter chai. They have a breakfast and lunch menu, so you can go at different times.

Percival Hall

Now this is a really underrated one. I recently discovered this place and have been loving it. It is located on Evansdale campus. It might not be for everyone because of the taxidermy, but the couches that sit facing the windows are so scenic and calming. It is always really quiet, and it doesn’t get really busy there.

These are some of my favorite places to study during the colder months. They are great places to study alone or with friends. Give them a try!
