Drake has spent most of 2026 giving his fans something to talk about. Three albums, forty-three new songs and now a promise that he will be back on tour in 2027. Drake confirmed at the premiere of Fear of Missing Out, better known as FOMO, that a tour is coming in 2027. “Obviously, a tour is coming, and there are other things on the horizon, some big shows,” Drake confirmed. “We’ll be out in 2027 to see everybody again across the world.” But the announcement stopped there. No dates. No cities. No venues. No ticket information. For fans, that leaves plenty of room for anticipation, and a little FOMO.
Three Albums, One Year
Before getting to the tour, it is worth remembering just how much Drake has already released this year. On May 15, Drake unexpectedly released three albums: Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour. The three projects had originally been presented as part of the Iceman rollout, making the eventual three-album release one of the biggest surprises of his year. Together, the albums contain 43 songs, nearly two and a half hours of new music.
Iceman was the vocal point of the album release, as it was the only one greatly teased to fans before its initial release. This album has 18 tracks featuring artists like Future, 21 Savage and Molly Santana. Some of the most popular songs being Janice STFU, Shabang and Ran to Atlanta.Â
Habibti was the next album with an 11-track discography. This project leans into classic R&B and slower vocal performances. It includes features from PartyNextDoor, Sexyy Red and Loe Shimmy. Some of the most popular tracks include Whitebone, Forthworth and Classic.
The last release was Maid of Honour, taking on a more upbeat and dance-centered feeling. This album has 14 tracks, with some of its features being Central Cee, Popcaan and Sexyy Red. Some of the most notable tracks include Which One, Cheetah Print and True Bestie.
That alone could have been enough to keep fans busy for months. But instead, Drake kept going. The rollout around Iceman had already created a steady cycle of speculation and anticipation. Then, months later, Drake introduced another mystery: Fear of Missing Out. At first, fans were left wondering exactly what FOMO even was. An album? A song? A tour? And the answer ended up being a little bit of everything.
Then Came FOMO
On Sep. 15, Drake premiered Fear of Missing Out, a visual project he had described as a “not so short film” and “self-funded surrealism.” The project combines music videos, new music, celebrity appearances, behind-the-scenes-style footage and scenes from Drake’s summer. It also featured new collaborations and a remix of Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” with Don Toliver.
And then came the tour news. During the premiere, Drake confirmed that he plans to tour in 2027. Suddenly, the title FOMO felt almost too appropriate. FOMO literally means the fear of missing out, the feeling that something exciting is happening somewhere else and you are not part of it. For Drake fans, the feeling is slightly different. They know something is coming. They just do not know when.
Obviously, a Tour Is Coming
The most important thing to understand right now is the difference between what Drake has actually confirmed and what fans are still waiting to learn. It has been confirmed by Drake himself that there is a tour coming in 2027, and he described it as a chance to see people “across the world.” What is not confirmed is the specific dates, cities, venues, ticket prices, ticket-sale dates or an official tour name. That means there is a tour announcement, but there is not yet a tour schedule. And that distinction matters.
Fans Are Looking for Dates
This is where the anticipation starts to become its own story. Once an artist says “tour,” the next question is almost automatic. Okay, when?
Drake’s announcement gives fans a year, but not a date. It gives them the idea of a worldwide run, but not a city. It confirms that live shows are being planned, but there is no itinerary to start planning around yet. That leaves fans in the familiar position of trying to figure out what comes next. And after the amount of music Drake has released this year, there is plenty of material to build a setlist around.
Would the tour focus heavily on Iceman? Would Habibti and Maid of Honour get their own moments? Would Drake bring back older favorites? And, perhaps most importantly, would any of the artists he has collaborated with show up along the way?
Who Could Join Drake on the tour?
Nothing has been confirmed about surprise guests for the 2027 tour, but Drake has a very long list of artists he has actually made music with. That makes his catalog of collaborations one of the more interesting parts of imagining what the tour could look like.
Don Toliver: Don Toliver is one of the most relevant names right now. The two have already collaborated, and Toliver appeared again alongside Drake on the FOMO version of “Choosin’ Texas.” Drake also made a surprise appearance during Toliver’s Toronto show earlier this year. That does not mean Toliver will appear on Drake’s 2027 tour. But the existing musical connection makes him an obvious name for fans to wonder about.
Travis Scott: Drake and Travis Scott have shared songs including “MELTDOWN,” giving the two artists an established history of working together. Their collaborations also make sense in the context of Drake’s live performances: both artists have experience turning major rap records into massive concert moments. Whether Travis appears in 2027 is unknown, but the music is already there.
21 Savage: Drake and 21 Savage’s collaboration is much more than a single song. Their 2022 joint album, Her Loss, made their musical partnership a major part of Drake’s recent catalog. The two also collaborated on “Knife Talk,” and 21 Savage appeared on Drake’s 2026 music as well. That history gives Drake plenty of material to revisit if the two end up sharing a stage again.
PARTYNEXTDOOR: PARTYNEXTDOOR is another artist whose connection to Drake runs deep. The two have collaborated on songs including “Come and See Me,” and their partnership eventually expanded into the joint project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR also toured together in the U.K. and Europe in 2025, making another appearance together on the road, something fans have reason to imagine, even though nothing has been announced for 2027.
Future: Future is another longtime Drake collaborator with a substantial shared catalog. The two have recorded songs including “Love Me” and “WAIT FOR U,” while their joint project “What a Time to Be Alive” remains one of the most recognizable collaborations in Drake’s career. If Drake wanted to bring a longtime collaborator onto the stage, Future would be one of the many names fans could reasonably look toward.
None of these artists have been announced as guests for Drake’s 2027 tour. For now, they belong in the category of possibilities, not confirmed appearances. And that uncertainty is part of what makes the tour so interesting.
Drake’s Year of Anticipation
Something we know for certain is that Drake has a pattern. First comes the anticipation. Then came Iceman. Then came two more albums that fans were not necessarily expecting: Habibti and Maid of Honour. Then came another round of anticipation around FOMO. Then came FOMO itself. And now, after all of that, comes anticipation for the tour. It almost feels like Drake has turned anticipation into part of the rollout.
The artist has spent the year giving fans new material while continuing to leave just enough unanswered questions to keep people wondering what is next. That makes FOMO a particularly fitting name for this moment. Fans are not necessarily missing out on Drake. In fact, they have received an enormous amount of Drake this year. They are waiting to find out what they might miss next.
The FOMO Continues
Drake has already given fans three albums in 2026. He followed them with Fear of Missing Out, which brought more visuals, more music and more surprises. Now there is one more thing to wait for. The tour is coming in 2027. Drake has said so himself. But until the dates, cities and venues arrive, fans are still left with the same question. When do we get to see you? For an artist who has built an entire year around anticipation, maybe the waiting is fitting. Drake’s FOMO has arrived. The tour FOMO, apparently, is just getting started.
