In the beauty world, there are so many brands that it can seem difficult to find products that actually work that don’t do animal testing. Here are 11 must-have cruelty-free beauty products that don’t test on our furry friends.

1. Eva NYC Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Mask

If you want refreshingly clean hair, this is the shampoo and conditioner for you. Be warned, it has an odd scent (that is low-key weirdly amazing), but you hair will thank you for it.

They even have a hair mask that’s to die for.

2. Pacifica Dreamy Cover Foundation

Foundations come in various shapes and forms. From powder to liquid to mousse, the varieties can be overwhelming. This is a serum-based foundation that is lightweight and moisturizing.

Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation is a liquid foundation that has buildable coverage and makes your face radiate.

Too Faced Cocoa Powder foundation is, as the title indicates, a powder foundation. It is perfect for oily skin that needs a matte finish.

3. NYX Dark Eye Concealer

From not sleeping because of schoolwork or staying out too late downtown (when you know you really shouldn’t have), this concealer has got you covered. Literally.

4. Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Contour Palettes

Contouring has become a huge trend within the past year. Everyone is contouring nowadays. Anastasia Beverly Hills has been a major benefactor in this new fad through their cream and powder contour kits. Bonus: Their whole brand is cruelty-free, so if you’re willing to splurge on some great products, go for it!

However, for a cheaper alternative, try the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette.

5. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

Even though you can get a bronzer in a palette, sometimes you just need that individual shade. Or maybe it’s the only one that doesn’t make you look like an Oompa Loompa.

A cheaper alternative would be the NYX Matte Bronzer.

6. ELF Gotta Glow Highlighter

Highlight. Highlight. Highlight. Need I say more? (Also considered a dupe to NARS Albatross, so why not try it?)

7. Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Another staple is a great nude palette. You can use classic shades for a timeless, natural, or nighttime look. This palette has a great array so the looks are endless!

If you prefer matte eyeshadows, look no further than the Too Faced Natural Matte Palette.

For a cheaper alternative that looks just as great, try wet n wild’s Au Naturel Palette.

8. BareMinerals Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner

It’s longwearing. It has a built in sharpener. It has a built in smudge tool. What more do you need?

For something that’s close to a mousse/cream eyeliner, the Tartiest Clay Paint Eyeliner is the one for you.

9. Tarte’s Tartiest Mascara

Mascara is the staple of almost every girl’s makeup bag. It is a necessity. It is wonderful. Luckily, Tarte has designed both a great formula and aesthetically pleasing packaging that is perfect for day and night looks.

A cheaper alternative is Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara.

10. Tarte’s Eyebrow Mousse

This Amazonian clay formula makes your eyebrows go from freak to fleek in just a few simple swipes. Major perk: it’s waterproof.

For a cheaper alternative, try NYX Eyebrow Pomade

11. ELF Makeup Setting Spray

So cheap. So great. You know you need it.

There are so many more products where those came from. Here’s a list of cruelty-free brands in 2016:
