I applied to William and Mary and only William and Mary. I didn’t visit W&M before I applied, and I knew I was taking a BIG risk. My friends told me – “Harini, you are crazy for doing early decision without even visiting the school.”And for some odd reason, I wasn’t a tad bit worried. So, when I finally visited Williamsburg for “Admitted Students Day,” I knew that the risk I had taken had not gone awry. William and Mary felt like home. From the tour guides to the activities, from the luncheon at the Sunken Garden to the brightly lit hallways, everything was perfect.
Now, the summer has passed, and my pen has almost run out of ink from crossing out dates till August 19th. Sometimes I pause and think, “Am I really going to college?” The fact that I am, will only hit me when I finally get there on Friday.
Get ready everyone! Class of 2015 is ready to join the Tribe!
