Popularized by Jackie Kennedy, the Jack Rogers Navajo Sandal is arguably the most ubiquitous shoe on the William & Mary campus during the warmer months. Though you can get Jack Rogers in every color combination under the sun, 99% of the pairs I spot on the brick pathways of campus are the Platinum color (an amazing color that’s not quite silver and not quite gold). You can also get them in your sorority colors, in your college colors, or even monogrammed! If you don’t want to pay full price (prices range from $110-$150), make sure to sign up for Rue La La, Gilt, and Hautelook as they have frequent Jack Rogers sales. Keep reading to find out the many ways collegiates wear this popular sandal!

For all the prepsters out there, you won’t find a better fit to your wardrobe (or even to your lifestyle!) than a classic pair of Jack Rogers. I’ve spotted them worn with a button down and a monogrammed Longchamp bag, a pair of lemon yellow chino shorts and a cobalt blue ruffled tank (I saw this outfit paired with silver JRs!), a sheer white blouse and a pair of navy chino shorts with a matching L.L. Bean Boat Tote, and with a denim shirt and a statement necklace.

If your style is more on the bohemian-eclectic side, wear your Jack Rogers with printed items, flowy materials, rich jewel tones, or a completely neutral palette. On campus, I’ve witnessed students wearing them with a pair of printed pants, a strapless printed dress, a bright orange top, a flowy top paired with leggings and dangly earrings, a blue floral maxi dress with a beige-and-metallic tote, and with burgundy jeans.

Jack Rogers are a perfect fit for a classic style. I’ve seen them paired with a striped shirt and shorts, a bright blue dress, a classic navy dress, a pair of white ankle crop jeans and a light blue oxford shirt, a lilac chiffon shift dress, a pinky-coral shirtdress, and with a sleeveless beige wrap dress.
