  • Lady Killers by Tori Telfer—This one was released a couple of weeks ago but is perfect for the upcoming Halloween holiday. Lady Killers focuses on 14 different female serial killers throughout history, but instead of just focusing on their crimes, Telfer also discusses how the women were treated by the media and how their crimes were perceived. This read is perfect for anyone interested in feminism or true crime!
  • Unqualified by Anna Faris—Since her split from Chris Pratt, it seems like everyone has been buzzing about her memoir, Unqualified. Since it was released on October 24th, people everywhere have been devouring it, looking for more information about Faris and Pratt’s relationship. Whether you find the answers or not, Unqualified looks to be a funny and heartwarming read.

  • Stranger Things Season 2—The new season of Stranger Things dropped on Netfilx on the 27th, just in time for Halloween. Hopefully questions will be answered and this follow up will be just as good as the original!

  • “Wolves” by Selena Gomez–This week Selena Gomez released her new single, “Wolves.” The song, another EDM track, contains deeply personal lyrics. Some fans have even pointed out that the scientific name of the wolf, Canis lupus, could be symbolic of her battle with the disease lupus. Check the song out on Spotify.
  • Meaning of Life by Kelly Clarkson—Clarkson released her eighth album on Friday. The album is a mix her classic pop tunes, but also features some soulful songs, which some critics say is indicative of a more mature Clarkson.
