My 2020 Spotify Playlists

I’m not going to bore you with a lengthy elucidation of my specific song selection. I think the songs speak for themselves. That said, music inevitably makes me feel. During quarantine, I’ve been on quite the emotional rollercoaster. Being able to just experience the emotion helps me become more comfortable with myself and the power of my feelings. Music heightens my emotions but also keeps me grounded in the moment. When I need a change of scenery, I’ll drive around in my car, scream-singing songs that fit my current mood. I’ve had a lot of time to discover new music that really resonates with me. My favorite artists of 2020 have been Nyah Grace, Laufey Lin, Tom Misch, and Sufjan Stevens. My friend from Amsterdam has also gotten me hooked on Euro Club dance music. I’ve created the five perfect playlists for my quarantine moods. I hope you enjoy them too!
