Describe Yourself in Three Words:  Loyal, determined, passionate

What is Your Go-To Starbucks Order? Iced Chai Latte

What Do You Like to Do In Your Free Time? Go for walks in CW, read, Netflix, bake

What is Your Favorite Movie? I will pretty much always watch Legally Blonde, National Treasure, A Knight’s Tale, or any of the Harry Potter movies. A recent favorite is Hidden Figures.

What is Your Favorite Book? As a book lover, I can’t pick just one! A few that stick out: A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle, Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys, Life, Animated by Ron Suskind, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

What Is One Thing On Your Bucket List? Publishing a book

What is Something Someone Would Be Surprised to Learn About You? I am a huge hockey fan (Go Caps!)

What’s Your Favorite Part of William and Mary? Definitely the people. I’ve met so many amazing people and made lifelong friends.

What is the Best Part of Being an AMP Member? I think it’s a tie between getting to plan events that I would want to go to and seeing people enjoy the events we put on.

What is Your Favorite AMP Memory? Probably the Spike Lee event last year. The event went really well and Spike Lee was a really cool presence to bring to campus. After the event, he stayed onstage and signed everything that people had and that was really gracious.

Outside of the William and Mary Community, you work with The Young Folks. What is your position with them and how did you get involved? I am currently the Books Editor for TheYoungFolks.com. I curate the books section, assign book reviews to writing staff, and handle publicity requests; I also write book reviews for the site. During my senior year of high school, I was looking for a way to get involved in the book community. I found TYF and have been writing for the site ever since!

What is the Best Part of Working for The Young Folks? I do love getting advanced copies of books to review, but the best part of working for TYF is finding people who love books (and movies/TV/music/etc.) as much as I do.

What is One Piece of Advice You Have For Freshman (or anyone)? If you can’t find what you want at W&M – whether it’s a major or a club – don’t be afraid to design it yourself.

If You Were President of the College for a Day, What Would You Do? Oh, this is hard! I’d invite Jimmy Fallon, Lin-Manuel Miranda, or Michelle Obama to speak on campus. Or put one hundred puppies on the Sunken Gardens.
