It’s that time of year again. The season when award shows pull us away from our homework on Sunday nights to listen to a little music, watch a lot of awards, and (most importantly) judge the infamous red carpet. Celebrities never fail to provide the best and worst outfits to awe and laugh over with our roommates. This year’s Grammys was no different, in fact there was some of the worst dressed ever!
5th place for worst dressed goes to Charlie XCX in her furry while suit and pink bow tie. Unfortunately, instead of sleek and sophisticated, her outfit looks a little bit like the Easter bunny. There is always next year Charlie!
4th place for the worst dressed award was a relatively unknown star named Joy Villa. She took unique to a whole new level in her orange construction-like dress. Joy left nothing to the imagination with a full-frontal view and a hat to match. If she was trying to make a statement she accomplished it, but not in a way anybody wants to remember.
3rd place for the worst dressed was not even about the dress itself. It definitely wasn’t the most beautiful dress we’ve ever seen, but Iggy’s hair is the real problem here. This braid like look is a pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. We’re sorry, but we most definitely are not begging for it.
2nd place for outfit fails is none other than Madonna, the queen of pop herself. It isn’t surprising that she decided to take a risk with the face net, which, in theory could be a great fashion statement! However, it turns out all she’s really missing is the Cruella Deville title and 101 dalmatians. At least the puppies would help increase the cuteness a bit.
1st place for the worst outfit we saw at the Grammys is Rihanna’s pink puff dress. Normally, Rihanna is known for her sleek gowns and bold make up, but she really dropped the ball this time. This puffy dress was just way too much for the Grammys and covered up her rockin’ bod. Hate to say it Rihanna, but you look like a loofah.
These stars are usually some of the classiest on the red carpet, but it looks like this just wasn’t their year. Our advice is to leave the wacky outfits to the usual red carpet crazies… and leave the loofah’s at home.
