Vampire diaries star Ian Somerhalder to possibly star in 50 Shades movie, Lauren Conrad unveils new book Starstruck, and Romney causes memes to explode all over the internet with binder statement!
So of all the vampire studs in the TV show circuit, my favorite by far has to be Ian Somerhalder of The Vampire Diaries. Ian plays Damon Salvatore, the hotter, riskier more evil brother of the bloodsucking duo on the TV show. His character is provocatively volatile, passionate, intense, and hot blooded whereas his brother Stephan is the charming good guy (Sorry for that fan girl moment guys). Ian was asked about a rumor thatās been going around ā him starring in the movie version of the 50 shades of gray series, and he artfully dodged the question. I havenāt read the fifty shades series, which spent weeks on the New York Times bestseller list this summer. But from what Iāve heard, the book is somethingā¦Ian would be playing the role of Christian Grey – the male lead role. Ian stated in an interview that itās all ājust talkā but cheers to hoping that itās not!
Lauren Conrad, alum of the reality TV show The Hills, has been on a promotional tour for her latest novel Starstruck to be released on November 6th. Earlier this week, she signed copies at Barnes and Noble while the web buzzed about her possibly tying the knot very soon. LC, who is now a New York Times best selling author, is currently promoting the second book in her Fame Game series. The first one debuted number one on the bestseller lists and there is a lot of hype about Starstruck. Her previous novels, including her LA Candy series and Style series, have all done very well. Thus, Iām looking forward to reading some reviews of the book to decide for myself. Many who doubted her success as an author were surprised when the ratings for her novels turned out to be quite good. Most were doubtful about LC being a good writer as she previously starred in the reality TV series, The Hills. To them, she now has the last laugh. Her novels were inspired by her personal life during the filming of The Hills so her storyline also follows a girl who moves to LA and becomes a reality TV star.
Last night my twitter feed, and everyone elseās Iām sure, was blowing up during the presidential debate. The most riveting statement, to most people, was Governor Romneyās ābinders of womenā. The governor made the statement when the president and him were questioned about women making a percentage less of what men earn. Governor Romneyās response, which included the ābinders full of womenā line, has caused several memes to pop up all over tumblr. The statement, which was merely a boast about the number of females he has hired, quickly set the Internet on fire. Check out the Tumblr blog that was created just for the statement and the piece by The Huffington Post.
