Spring Break Product Guide

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wisconsin chapter.

Looking to freshen up some of your old products this spring? Same. After a long winter, sometimes all a girl needs to push through the last few weeks of cold, dark, and rainy days are a few fun, new items! So what am I raving about this spring?

Erin Condren Colorful Dual-Tip Markers  ($12.00)

I’ll admit it—I’m the type of person who goes absolutely crazy if every second of my day isn’t planned out perfectly. Once the weather starts to get nice, it gets harder and harder for me to stay organized and focused. These markers freshen up my planner and keep my loads of schoolwork from looking so… ”bleh.” By writing down not only tests and assignments, but also fun spring break plans, I can make sure I have something to look forward to on the calendar during the long school week.

PSSSST! Instant Dry Shampoo in Tropical ($2.99)

This dry shampoo is an absolute necessity for spring break 2k17. It comes in the perfect air travel size making airport security a breeze and it smells like a tropical vacation. While vacationing, I’m constantly on the move, wanting to experience as much as possible. This dry shampoo is a lifesaver, especially if you’ve been in the heat or salt water all day, and your hair is begging to be freshened up.

L’oreal Sublime Bronze Towelettes ($11.99)

If you spent the entire winter seeing how pale you could possibly get (like me), I promise you need this product. Being tan isn’t everything, but it will give you a lot more confidence on the beach this spring as you break out a swimsuit for the first time in months. I’ve tried plenty of self-tanners in my days and had all the worst experiences imaginable: streaks, orange hands, forgetting to do the back of the leg, etc. But the towelettes from L’oreal make getting a little sun glow easy as can be.

Cystex Urinary Pain Relief ($7.92)

A box of Cystex is a great idea to bring along on a spring break trip. Nothing is worse than getting that familiar burning sensation while peeing, especially if you seem to be prone to UTIs. And, being struck with pain in the middle of a vacation when you’re away from your family doctor is a nightmare in the making. Plan ahead by packing a few tablets so nothing can ruin your vacation fun.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution and K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick ($34.00)

Charlotte Tilbury has the perfect lipstick for your spring adventure. The Matte Revolution and K.I.S.S.I.N.G. lines are the perfect contrast for a fun day exploring and a wild night out. This lipstick made my lips feel amazingly soft and plump all day, and, not to mention, the color stayed put, no reapplication necessary. No matter where you’re visiting this spring break, this lipstick is a must-have.
