The looks you need to see from one of the biggest fashion weeks of the year
To me, fashion week feels like what I would imagine March Madness feels like to basketball fans. I love to see the new trends and get a peek into the minds of talented designers and creators. Fashion designers have powerful images and amazing stories behind their designs. It is a form of art that shouldn’t go unnoticed.
Just in case you missed it, here are some specific looks from New York Fashion Week that made me particularly excited about the world of fashion.
From the Bronx and Banco show, this sparkly ensemble made me smile immediately. It reminds me of something Dua Lipa would wear when performing– which makes me love it even more. I love an oversized blazer for its dominant effects. The zebra print high boots are a statement piece that I almost didn’t notice because of the flashing pink. I love the femininity of the piece in addition to the dominance of it.

This dress by Oscar de la Renta is jaw-dropping. Not only is the model absolutely glowing, but the dress fits her like a glove. A dress like this could easily wear the model, but the elegance of it allows her to wear the dress. It is so early 2000’s in the best way possible. I would love to see this on a red carpet sometime soon.

This Micheal Kors look is amazing. There is so much intricacy in what is seemingly a simple design. When you look closer, there are so many layers to the puffer coat. The streets of Madison are littered with puffer coats, but Michael Kors took it to the next level. The head piece is stunning. The look is so easy on the eyes, I just had to share.

I am a sucker for some leather, and am living for this piece. There is so much power that comes with rocking leather. This model is rocking the structure of this piece in such a feminine way. Also, take a look at the shoes. They are amazing.

Can’t you just see this in Madison on a Saturday night? I am absolutely obsessed and want this for myself. The colored leather pants are beautiful and the fluffy jacket is to die for. The sunglasses add a cool dimension that relaxes the look and makes it casual. This look is something I want in my closet.

Although the fashion may seem unattainable, it is so fun to admire the hard work and creativity of the designers. Their work is outstanding and an inspiration in terms of what I want to get for my closet in the near future.
