Whether it’s from too much boozin’ or snoozin’ we all know what it’s like to come back from spring break and have to attend class on that dreadful Monday. Mondays are never a fun time, but after spring break they’re even worse. And the days to follow are just as bad. The memories of sun, freedom, hot weather and no stress are just that: memories. But it’s time to face the facts and realize life must go on! And there is an enjoyable way to do so.

Pictures
We all know what it’s like when everyone comes back from spring break. Our newsfeeds on Facebook explode with pictures. Normally they’re all versions of the same thing, but we spend our minutes, hours and days clicking away and missing where we just were. So my advice to you is to give yourself a time period (no, not four days), such as 30 minutes or so, to look at all of the spring break pictures and then never go back! Well, okay, you can look at them eventually, but not until the post spring break blues have become a memory – just like your spring break trip.

Get Back into School ASAP
Yes, it sounds awful, but the only way to get back into the groove of things is to actually do it. Start doing homework right away. Don’t wait until the bad mood has gone away because then you’ll be in an even worse mood when you realize how much work you missed out on while you were mindlessly clicking away at Facebook pictures. Just pick up your first assignment and do it. It will only get easier after that.

Still Have Fun!
Spring Break is over, but that doesn’t mean your life is over! Still do what you like to do and when you want to do it. You’re not in prison; you’re still allowed to go out and have fun, just like you did for the past week. Go to the gym, take a walk if it’s nice out, watch your favorite television shows – do whatever you need to do to have fun and continue your life!

The bottom line is that life goes on after spring break. Yes, we all wish we were back in the sun living it up without a care in the world, but reality is that school must continue. But, if you REALLY can’t break the post spring break blues just think…summer is only one month, three weeks, 24 hours, 16 minutes, and 57 seconds away (not that anyone’s counting)!
