Almost every morning I feel like I have to choose between brushing my hair and grabbing breakfast before class. I know you all can relate to this! I also know that most of the time it’s hair that takes priority. With these fast and nutritious breakfast options you no longer will have to worry about the cute guy sitting next to you in lecture, hearing your stomach rumble!

BREAKFAST IDEAS: Fast, nutritious and delicious, these breakfast options are sure to become a morning staple!

GREEK YOGURT: Portable, filling, and most importantly tasty, Geek yogurt’s high protein content provides you with enough energy to get you through that dreaded power lecture! Bonus: Throw some berries on top for some hunger-killing fiber power!

PBJ OATS: A new spin to an old school favorite, this fiber/protein packed breakfast takes less than three minutes to throw together!

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon jam (preferably of the natural or low sugar variety)
1/2 cup instant oats
1/2 cup water or milk
Directions: Combine water or milk with oats and microwave for two minutes. Stir in peanut butter and jam, than dig in!

PB AND BANANNA SMOOTHIE: This smoothie is a quick and healthy option for the morning. The fact that it tastes like a decadent dessert, doesn’t hurt either!

Ingredients:
1 banana
¾ cup milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
4-6 ice cubes
Directions: Blend ingredients together in a blender, than sip away!

FIT AND FRUGAL FRAPPUCCINO: For all you Starbucks addicts out there, this is the recipe for you! You may not be able to the taste the difference between this homemade version and Starbuck’s mocha frappuccino, but you will be able to tell the difference in your waistline and wallet!

Ingredients:
1 packet Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix (no sugar added)
1 cup skim milk
1 table spoon instant coffee
4-6 ice cubes
Extras:
Dash cinnamon
Sugar free chocolate syrup
Low fat Reddi Whip
