Whether you are a total musical theatre nerd like me, or have simply listened to one song from a Broadway show soundtrack, you have to have at least some affiliation with musicals. Throughout our lifetime, fantastic musicals have been produced one after the other on Broadway, and they will continue to inspire and move audiences for years to come. While some of these musicals are only produced within the last couple of years, they have hits that are taking national fame; they have won more awards than one person could keep track of. After discussing with the most highly opinioned theatre nerds I could find (aka my friends), we have come to a consensus on the best Broadway shows and their top hits of our generation.
