Are you an Amazon Prime member? Do you find yourself waiting longer than expected for your packages to arrive? With the new addition of an Amazon pickup point connected to Sellery Residence Hall, you can retrieve your packages without hassle.
By selecting “Amazon@UWMadison” at checkout, you’ll have the option to select free one-day shipping on orders placed before 10 p.m. Amazon will then send a barcode to your email. Simply scan the barcode at the pickup location on the first floor of Sellery Hall to receive your package.
According to a statement released by the university, the location can not only minimize delivery traffic and simplify the package delivery process, it can also reassure that the package ends up in the hands of the person who ordered it. If you don’t want to keep the item(s), you can also return it for free at the pickup location — you won’t have to deal with sending the package back yourself that way.
The location is open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
