‘Tis the season to be spooky, which means it’s time to try some of the best Halloween recipes around! We’ve compiled a list of the five cutest Halloween-themed desserts — they are easy to make and are definitely Instagram-worthy. These five recipes will help you step up your Halloween game this October!

 

1. Bat Cake Pops

Cake Pop Ingredients:

  1. 1 box chocolate cake mix

  2. 1 container of chocolate frosting

Directions:

  1. Prepare cake according to the box and let cool completely after baking

  2. Crumble up cake mix, and combine with the container of frosting

  3. Form into balls, and refrigerate for 30 minutes

To make these cake pops into little bats, you need:

  1. Round chocolate wafer cookies, halved

  2. Chocolate candy melts

  3. White royal icing

  4. Black royal icing

  5. Mini chocolate chips

2. Chocolate Mice

Ingredients:

  1. 3 oz. of cream cheese

  2. 2 tbsp. of unsalted butter

  3. 1 cup of confectioner’s sugar

  4. 3 ½ oz. of semisweet chocolate

  5. 2 round baked chocolate cake layers

  6. 4 oz. of white chocolate

  7. 7 oz. of extra bittersweet chocolate

  8. ½ cup toasted pumpkin seeds

  9. 12 black licorice whips

Ingredients:

  1. 12 oz. of white chocolate

  2. 24 donut holes

  3. 24 red M&M candies

  4. 8 oz. of dark chocolate

4. Chocolate Cupcakes with Pumpkin Cheesecake Filling

Ingredients for the filling:

  1. 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

  2. 1/3 cup white sugar

  3. 1 egg

  4. 2 tablespoons pumpkin

  5. 6 drops yellow food coloring (optional)

  6. 3 drops red food coloring (optional)

  7. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Ingredients for the cake:

  1. 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 1 cup white sugar

  3. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  4. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/3 cup vegetable oil

  7. 1 cup water

  8. 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

5. Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

  1. 4 eggs

  2. 1 2/3 cups white sugar

  3. 1 cup vegetable oil

  4. 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree

  5. 2 cups all-purpose flour

  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  8. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
