I’ll be honest, a few years ago I was not the biggest fan of Amazon. I felt like there were too many items to sort through, and it was overwhelming and stressful to find the things that I wanted. Well, fast forward to today, and I swear I receive an Amazon Prime package at least once a week — maybe more. From clothing and tennis shoes to kitchen gadgets and apartment decor, I feel like I’ve truly embraced the Amazon lifestyle and have ordered items from a wide variety of departments. Here are a few essentials that I order regularly as a college student!

1. Tech Accessories

Personally, I’ve never spent more than $15 on any tech accessories like phone cases, 6-foot long phone chargers (LIFE CHANGING) or, my most recent purchase, these silicone cases for my AirPods. If you’re in the market for tech-related items like these, I would highly recommend checking Amazon! They have tons of color and style options, and most items are on-trend and look like you paid a lot more for them. I recommend this marble phone case; I get so many compliments on it and it’s great quality!

2. Apartment Decor

I proudly own this pillow, and it currently sits on my bed where I am reminded every morning of how much I would rather be asleep. Sigh. If you’re in the market for some funny or quirky throw pillows, Amazon is the way to go! They have a bunch of options with cute sayings and patterns and are relatively inexpensive, making them perfect for decorating your apartment or dorm – or you could even give one as a gift!

Amazon has a whole section devoted to apartment decor, from tapestries and wall hangings to furniture and knick-knacks. If you’re looking to spruce up your apartment or dorm, check out Amazon for a wide variety of cute and inexpensive options!

3. Makeup Brushes

One thing that I love purchasing from Amazon are makeup brushes. You can find so many options for brush sets that are incredibly easy on the wallet, and the ones I’ve used have worked well and have lasted for a long time. If you don’t wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis or are just starting to build your brush collection, I would suggest purchasing a set from Amazon before spending money on a nicer set so you can see which brushes work best for you!

4. Snacks

Something that I’ve recently started buying on Amazon are snacks like these Clif bars. Granola bars can be so expensive at regular grocery stores, and I usually eat one each day, so the money can really add up. When I checked to see if they had them on Amazon, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are not only cheaper, but you can also buy them in bulk! If you find yourself spending a lot of money on snacks to bring to class, it’s definitely worth it to see if they have any bulk options on Amazon.

5. Office Supplies

I’m a big fan of buying office supplies online. I’ve purchased planners, pens, notebooks and most recently, these cute little to-do lists so that I can keep myself organized each day! I am a believer in writing things down on paper, so these are perfect for me to stay on top of all of my tasks. These are definitely an essential for me as a student, and Amazon has pages and pages of different options to choose from!

Whatever items you’re looking to purchase, Amazon most likely has them! Next time you need to stock up on some essentials, try going through Amazon and have them delivered straight to your door.
