Formal season has arrived! The time of year where you can finally tell your crush that you’re interested, party with your friends, and take pictures in pretty dresses. When you realize formal is only a couple days away and you’re dateless!
You think of the person you want to ask and get mentally prepared
Oh no, he’s taken already!
But you obv play it cool
When you’re really feeling
But then you realize your best guy friend doesn’t have a date yet so you ask him…and he says yes thank god!
The night before you can’t contain your excitement
Getting ready the night of formal
When you walk into formal and everyone’s with their boyfriend
But it’s okay cause you and your date are gonna have a better time
When you realize the food’s gone…
Oh wait, they’re bringing more out! Phew!
After you scarf down the whole buffet, you run straight to the bar
You spot the sober monitors whispering and pointing at you
They find you and tell you to slow it down
Some rando tries to steal your date
So you get him back and overstep your friend boundaries
You’re gonna regret that in the morning
So you decide to dance with your besties
Then it starts getting sentimental
You sit in the corner and talk about all your feelings
And comfort each other
And before you know it, formals over!
Your date is no where to be found and the next thing you know it your on the floor of your dorm room
The next morning your friends tell you all about your night
You pledge to never act like that at a formal again
But who are you kidding?
