Valentine’s Day can be a stressful time of the year because there are always people that feel sad that they don’t have a significant other. I know I’ve been there myself but, THAT’S OK! You can spend V-day with your family or friends watching these movies!

3. A Cinderella Story
Everyone knows the classic Cinderella story, but this one is set in a typical high school girl’s life. Sam is a teen in California who works at her stepmother’s diner because she has nowhere to go. After she loses her phone at the homecoming dance, she starts getting mysterious texts from an anonymous boy, only to find out her is the most popular boy in school. Will she ever tell him her identity, or will she miss out on true love?

A twist on the classic Romeo and Juliet love story, Gnomeo and Juliet’s families are battling over whose gardens look better, since they are all gnomes. They have a strong rivalry and are always in battle when the humans aren’t watching. How will their families react when they find out that Gnomeo and Juliet have fallen in love?
5. Shrek
Shrek is an ogre who lives in a swamp far away from anyone. When Shrek gets invaded by fairy tale characters that have been kicked out of their homes, he makes a deal with the evil Lord Farquadd. Shrek has to rescue a princess and bring her back to be Farquaad’s bride. The princess holds a secret and when Shrek finds out, will he stay with Princess Fiona or give her away to the evil Farquadd?
6. Beauty and the Beast
I couldn’t leave out a Disney princess movie! Belle is a very independent girl who has been taken prisoner in the beast’s castle to save her father. Everyone in the castle thinks that Belle is the one to break the castle’s curse, the one that enchanted everyone. Though she is scared at first, Belle learns to love and look beyond the beast’s looks. Will the beast love her back, keep her prisoner, or let her go?
