I don’t know about you, but I’m all for random pro tips that I can actually use in my day-to-day life. The ones I’m about to give you aren’t specific to any category, just things I’ve read and picked up on myself.

Putting lotion under your arms before deodorant can make it last longer

It can also protect your skin from irritation. Your underarms need moisture too!

Applying Vaseline to perfume points before spraying can prolong the scent

Just like the deodorant trick, Vaseline can help keep that Bath and Bodyworks spray last longer than 10 seconds. Just apply it to the wrists and other pulse points, then spray.

Resting your tongue on the roof of your mouth can improve the jaw and teeth

Yes, tongue posture is a thing. Resting it improperly can cause neck and jaw problems and the possibility of shifting teeth. Plus, keeping your tongue on the roof of your mouth can actually give the appearance of a better jawline.

Use a dryer sheet for staticky hair

If your hair is sticking up during the dryer days, using a dryer sheet can help smooth the flyaways without using your hands, which could cause more frizz or oil.

Don’t have an iron? Hang your clothes in the bathroom while you shower

The steam can smooth out the clothes in about an hour. If you don’t plan on showering, a pan with hot water can work as well.

Use vinegar to absorb bad odors

If your room smells bad and the air freshener just isn’t working, try absorbing the smell instead. Placing a few shallow bowls of white vinegar around the area can help neutralize the smell again. If that doesn’t help, try washing the walls of the room. A lot of bad odors can stick to walls until they’re washed out.

Losing Bobby Pins? Use a magnetic strip

I lose my hair pins all the time. Put a magnetic strip somewhere in your room or bathroom so you can keep your bobby pins all in one place.

Dead batteries bounce, good ones don’t

If you can’t tell if your batteries are good to use, try dropping them a few inches. If it barely bounces and falls over, it’s good to use. If it bounces any more than that, they’re either dead or almost dead.

Use baby powder in place of dry shampoo

If you don’t have dry shampoo, or you don’t want to use it, try using baby powder instead. It can absorb oil and make your hair appear less greasy. Make sure to blend it in, though.

Uncooked pasta can be used as a lighter

If your candle wax is nearing its end and you can’t reach the wick, light a piece of uncooked spaghetti. This way, you can light the candle without possibly burning your hand.

If you’re worried you might forget where you’ve placed something, say it out loud

Saying something like, “I am putting my phone on the kitchen counter” can activate the language part of the brain, making it easier to remember in the future. This trick can also be used with anything you may be forgetful of, like locking your car doors or unplugging an iron.

Read the 3 and 4 star reviews on a product for the most reliable feedback

Either that or click on the most recent reviews. The average reviews are less likely to be fake or a scam.

Hope these help!
