I had an internship in NYC at the New York Center for Autism Charter School.

I sing sometimes.

My mother is the only one in my immediate family who has never lost her New York accent and she’s been living in the south for almost 20 years.

My third grade teacher Mrs. Earle, she inspires me everyday from the first time I met her to be kind and loving to everyone and help them reach their greatest potential.

My favorite celebrity is Kerry Washington. She’s so inspiring because she really went after her dreams and she’s very involved with saving the arts in schools for other children to have an opportunity to live out their dreams. She’s also such an amazing actress.

Who do you look up to?

I look up to first and foremost Jesus to show me how to live out my life everyday and treat others with respect and most importantly with love. Secondly, I look up to my mother. She’s the strongest individual that I know who has been through so much in her life but continues to give to others.

I am a Mass Communications major at Winthrop University with a minor in theatre. I enjoy reading, writing, singing, blogging, traveling, photography and all things newsworthy(media, fashion and entertainment). I also love having fun and doing quality professional work. I enjoy volunteering with various organizations one in particular SOAR. A fun fact about myself is that I enjoy figure-skating and I use to take piano lessons. I truly enjoy being in the company of my family, friends and church family and I love helping others. I am excited about this opportunity, as I am looking forward to learning and passing it on.
