Why did you come to Winthrop?
I came to Winthrop because its the perfect size, not to big and not too small.
What is your favorite thing about WU?
The chemistry department would have to by my favorite thing because I spend so much time in Sims, I kind of have to learn to love it!
Are you involved on campus? If so, what are you involved in?
I’m on exec of my fraternity (Pi Kappa Phi), an Ambassador, an Office Host, in the honors program, and participate in undergraduate research.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to fish, play golf, and work on my boat. Ohh and ski in the wintertime!
What’s something interesting that people don’t know about you?
I recently became addicted to How I Met Your Mother!
Describe your perfect date.
Y’all are expecting me to say April 25th, but I’d have to say March 14 because its not too hot and not too cold. I can go fishing one day and then go into the mountains to go skiing the next! [laughs]
But seriously, I’d have to say a really fancy candlelight dinner on the lake followed by an evening boat ride, when the sun turns the water a perfect gold color.
What do you plan to do after graduate?
I hope to go to medical school and become a surgeon.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would want to go to England because I’ll be able to understand everyone while still enjoying Europe!
Who is your celebrity crush?
Carrie Underwood… Hands down!!
