Why did you come to Winthrop?
I had a dream of coming to Winthrop since age 11. I made it an official goal when Winthrop sent me a letter asking to meet with me about scholarship opportunities. I went to meet with an admissions counselor and decided that Winthrop was the best fit for me.

What is your favorite thing about WU?
My favorite thing about WU is their desire to build a community. There are plenty of opportunities to meet new people and build a community through the organizations on campus.

What do you want to do with your degree from Winthrop?
I want to be a kindergarten teacher and eventually get my masters in Child Life Specialist.

Favorite thing to do on the weekends?
My favorite thing to do on weekends is to drink coffee and read a book.

What is something interesting people don’t know about you?
I prefer to eat vegan food over any other kind of food.

Hopefully teaching a kindergarten class in Tennessee…or somewhere warm.

My dream job is being a child life specialist. Going to hospitals and bringing opportunities of development to children.
