Whether you’re buried in finals, need something to brighten your day, or just want to see some cute doggos, stop what you’re doing right now and checkout Sophie Gamand’s website and social media sites!

Gamand is a French award-winning photographer and animal advocate living in New York. She travels throughout the United States and photographs shelter dogs for free to help them get adopted.

According to her website she focuses on dogs so that she can better understand humans. She also says that dogs were created by men because we manipulated their genetics, so we have a big responsibility towards dogs.

Gamand also shares statistics which show that Americans spend $60 billion on food, veterinary care, kennels and other services. However, 3.9 million dogs end up in shelters. Gamand hopes that her photographs will bring awareness and better understand the relationship between humans and dogs.
