Hey Collegiettes, hands in the air if you are an art major! Those hands are more than likely covered in paint or charcoal, but that’s okay–I mean, when are your hands ever clean?
As an art student, you have to try to mange your 3 hour studio classes with your art you do on your free time (wait…what is free time?) It’s safe to predict that you’re drowning in the elements and principles of the visual arts. Where that might bother any other student, you thrive on the late nights finishing up pieces to make them as perfect as possible and messing up your clothes in the process. No one would catch you in an engineering class just for kicks and giggles because art is love and art is life! Here are 5 ways you know you are an die hard art student.
1. Have you ever turned 50 shades of every color?
2. If you’ve ever played with the kneaded eraser to waste time or release stress.
3. When you annoy your friends for never accepting perfection.
4. If you are that kid with a ruler sticking out of your book bag plus holding other accessories weighing you down.
5. Your art work becomes apart of your outfit and makeup.
